KEITH DUNN APPOINTED TO CIVIL LEGAL SERVICES APPEAL PANEL
Keith Dunn was today appointed by the Permanent Secretary of the Department of Justice to the Civil Legal Services Appeal Panel. The Panel considers appeals regarding the granting of legal aid in civil cases. The appeals include the refusal of the Northern Ireland Legal Services Agency to grant legal aid to bring or defend proceedings and the refusal to allow solicitors to instruct counsel or expert witnesses in a case for which legal aid has been granted.
